I loved the PI, I could have easily lived there, indeed I had a couple of potential places picked out, (Sabang Beach on Mindoro and Dumaguete City on Negros Oriental) but in the end it was just too scary there.

If even a third of what my Filipina girlfriends told me is true then it sure doesn't put a lot of men in a very good light. Maybe that is why so many of them used to hang out in my room. It got so I had no privacy at all and I had to escape during the day. The stuff I saw going on, on a regular basis is why I stopped visiting the Philippines. Everything was a scam of one fashion or another.
