December 15, 200916 yr Anyone know the procedure of shipping a Honda Wave motorcycle by the post office from Pattaya to Chiang Mai ( or anywhere ). I also have a Honda Phantom to ship but assume that its too large to go by post ? ( i am positive that the post office ship small bikes )
December 15, 200916 yr If you don't get any luck from the post office then you can try the Nakohn Chair Air bus terminal on Sukhumvit road ( Central Pattaya road Junction ) they will certainly take the Wave to Chaingmai.

Post office will do the smaller bike and can go by bus or train (train only from/to BKK). Just had our 125 delivered from up north by Nakhon Air, cost 1400 baht.
December 15, 200916 yr Just ride it to PO and present original and copies of green book in your name and ID; passport or Thai DL. They will do the Phantom also. Edited December 15, 200916 yr by ricklev
December 15, 200916 yr Its possible they will come to you and pick up the bike. We sent a new fridge up north last month and the local post office came and took it away. 100 pick up charge and 1500 to send he fridge on its way.
December 15, 200916 yr I would recommend draining the fuel tank so it does not do too many Kms on the trip.
