Can the airline (Firefly) forbid her to fly ??? And what possibilitys she have to leave the counrty and fly home to Bali ???

Thx for your authoritative answers !

I'm almost sure she can fly back to her home country but I don't think they'd let her fly to K.L. especially if it's two different flights. My wife realised her Thai passport had only four months validity when we went to K.L. recently and they refused her, luckily she had her U.K. passport with her and was allowed to fly out on that.

She is Indonesian returning to Indonesia. If she goes direct to Indonesia there is no problem at all The six month rule doesn't apply when a citizen is returning to their home country. She can apply for a new passport in Indonesia while she is there and get a Thai visa from the Thai Consul in Bali.

My son is returning to the UK with only two months left on his passport. It is ok to travel through any airport for a connecting flight, but he wouldnt be able to pass through immigration. He has to stay airside.

HL :)

In this case

Leaving the transit area is allowed.
