falangaman
I am currently in the UK but will be in Thailand to marry in June. My Fiance would like to apply for settlement Visa asap however she will require my documents (wage slips etc) in order to do so. As I dont really want to post these (lost enough posting to her already!) is it possible to send copies and present originals in June? Also, is it possible to pre-book an interview date before an application is submitted? I would love her to return with me in June but thats 6 weeks away so possibly a tad ambitious of us. Of course I dont mind waiting to do things properly but I really want to get moving on this so that there is a slight chance she can get here before the winter. Thanks all
the scouser
There's nothing prohibiting your fiancée from submitting a spouse application now and asking for an interview on a date by which time you'll be married. If you are worried about losing documents then either submit copies now or just make the application now and provide the originals on the date of interview. Cheers, Scouse. bkk_mike
Copies will be fine, so long as the originals are available at some point - i.e. for the interview.
