Where to apply for non-immigrant 'O' visa (over-50) without drawing UK pension?
The Embassy and Consulates have never said that, it has always been a double scenario situation, the move to E-visa didn't change that. When they changed from the paper application to E-visa they failed to attach some text on the website in the context it should have been, probably the result of it being done centrally rather than locally. Unfortunately there are always those that want to take things literally. -

Introduction to Personal Income Tax in Thailand
Mike Lister is another who has done a lot of work, but the US DTA is a lot clearer but again, most of us are reading the English translations which the Thai Revenue Department will be the final authority on assessable income but remember, most people are just guessing what the final forms will look like this year...good luck in your search but many repeats repeats repeats repeats over and over again. -

Boeing Successfully Completes First Flight of Thailand’s First AH-6 Little Bird Helicopter
Boeing Successfully Completes First Flight of Thailand’s First AH-6 Little Bird Helicopter First flight? The Unmanned Little Bird demonstrator, which Boeing built from a civilian MD 530F, first flew on September 8, 2004, and made its first autonomous flight (with safety pilot) on October 16, 2004. Hub of pulling stock off the shelf, sticking a "Made in Thailand" sticker on it and shouting "Lookit what we can do!" -

Keir Starmer’s EU Reset: A Strategy Built on Falsehoods
How exactly are the EU limiting the freedoms of Switzerland, Norway and the Baltic States' to run things the way that they wish? EU Parliamentary elections are held every five years. The electorate in all EU member states are eligible to vote in these elections. Similarly, elections to the various national assemblies are held in the individual EU member states at various periodicity. Again, the respective national electorates are free to cast their vote for whomever they like. Therefore, I don't understand how and why you conclude that, "... asking the people is anathema to the EU"? -

Is Thailand Value for money
Blah blah..... Why have sugar alcohol AT ALL? I haven't assumed anything. I've simply commented on what you actually wrote. Which was purely nonsense. NY style pizza, shrimp scampi etc and claiming it is healthy. Idiocy IMHO.- 1

Moldova Accuses Russia of Voter Bribery to Block EU Integration
In how many days after "joining EU" most of moldovian boys and girls of active age will cross the border and "Go West" for better job/life/health care/education/security/law? I bet in about a week. PS: Why wouldn't they just re-join with Romania, after all its the same ethnic group. -

Boeing Successfully Completes First Flight of Thailand’s First AH-6 Little Bird Helicopter
Maybe they should. But human participation may spot things a drone would miss. Actually, Thailand could well go out to the RTAF Museum and bring back into service the O1 Bird Dogs they've got sitting out there. Wonderful observation aircraft, durable, reliable. I think Ravens used them as FACs during the war in Laos. There are successor aircraft of course. But the helicopters at least make sense for peacetime emergency services. The US helped several months ago, if I remember correctly, by donating inflatable military river boats. Both beat submarines and new jets.- 2
