Hi guys: My dear wife has many Karaoke VCDs with her favourite oldie Thai songs ..I want to load them onto her MP3 player. Have tried to use freebie software to tranfer to my laptop but it is so awkward and takes forever one track at a time..any recommendations? Is it possible by simply taking the analogue audio output to my laptop maybe?

That is one way of doing it, with Audiograbber being a free solution. Otherwise you need a specialist CD+G ripper such as: http://www.karaoke-software.net/cdg-ripper.html or use something like MPEG2VCR and extrat the MPEG1 Audio.
