looking for a seller of gsm-based gps tracking devices in bangkok, you know the small devuces you can stick a GSM SIM in and send a message to to get a fix on the current location.

i'm quite worried as my ex-wife has threatened to take my son away when I'm "Not looking", so want to take every precaution I can. My son could keep it in his school bag as thats the only time she could really nab him ....

Any places in bkk to get these devices and in stock?

Haven't seen them yet in Bkk, but TukCom in Pattaya has a shop stocking them. I think about 6500 Baht now.

Actually, the 3K to 5K models are Chinese copies.

Good for casual use but not entirely to be trusted for professional use (fleet tracking etc).

I am saying they are overcharging. No offense mate but that has got **** to do with my concern for my son's safety.
