Non Imm B Letter

Recommended Posts

Hello,

A while back I received some good advice on here regarding an 8 month sabbatical in Thailand. It's possible for me to get a letter from my company requesting a multiple entry B visa. Before I send it to my local consulate, would like to know....

Is it sufficient to provide a letter printed on official company letterhead, signed by a director, requesting the visa on the grounds of "researching business opportunities", without providing any contacts in Thailand?

I'm in something of a similar position:

My details: Canadian male

My business contacts in China want me to act as their agent to market their products to existing brandnames in Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, and Vietnam.

They are willing to provide me whatever documentation is required to help me acquire a Non-Imm 'B' visa for the purpose of conducting business in Thailand.

I have the Ministry of Imm visa site and listed requirements but everything appears to be directed at Thai company documentation.

Is there any list or directory with information regarding exactly what documentation is required under such circumstance?

Any advice?

Does this imply that a Non Imm B visa will only be issued if the applicant is being sponsored by a Thai company? Would a letter without contacts in Thailand be an automatic rejection?

Two of my friends got their Non-Imm-B for the same reasons you wish to get it..

You should use a Consulate and not an Embassy in your home country. Send them

a letter stating why you need to stay in Thailand, and send them a coppy of business-

registration and or a letter signed by a director if it's not your companny.

You should get your Visa withing a few days or so.

Also to be sure, you could call the consulate in advance and tell them about your plans,

then they would probably tell you to send them your PP and a company letter or busi-

ness registration.

It should work, just use the CONSLATE not the embassy, as they tend to be much more

picky everywhere.
