Tr Visa Run To Hmc/saigon

Does anyone have any recent first hand information about making a visa run to HMC?

Seems the Vietnamese visa will cost about 1,000 and the A/Asia ticket about 4,500.

I don't know anything else yet.

I have not been to HCMC in a few years, cant recall the cost for the Visa for Vietnam. For airlines you can check with Air France sometimes they have some good specials also I believe Lufthansa offers some good discounts.

I made visa run with my friend (I no need as retired) and my experience is cheapest is AirAsia and (usual we know very early when next visa run will be needed) if you can plan well in advance, you can get ticket BKK - Hanoi for less 2000 THB roundtrip, same certain for HCMC. We just prefer Hanoi because less crwoded, less pollution, if you make overland trip near no Mosquitos then in Mekong Delta. Good nice Hotels incl. ABF from 12 $ !!! Thai Embassy not crowded and until now friendly.

Make E-Visa via Internet and depend if express or normal, it's around 1000 THB in Embassy in BKK you need 2 day (1 in 1 out for passport) and travel there plus add. ca. 500 THB.
