I a have post-paid account with TRUE Move. My first statement lists "SMS Marketing Content Service" charges of 260 baht. Since I don't understand these charges, I call Customer Service (1331) for more information. My question is not answered, but the customer service person promises to "investigate" and call back with an answer. 1 week later, still no feedback.

I walk to the Siam Square True Move office where I explain the problem. They claim to cancel the service as well as all related charges. Excellent. Resolved problem ( I think).

The next day, I realize my account is suspended and can't make calls nor access internet. I later learn that my account is suspended because I did not pay the 260 bahts "SMS Marketing Content Service" charges that were supposedly cancelled a day earlier. I call Customer Service - 1331 but they give me the same speech: "We will investigate this and call you back."

In the meantime, my account is suspended again....

I'm getting tired of this nonsense. Do you know anyone reliable at True Move who can resolve this kind problem? Has anyone dealt with this madness before? Or should I just cancel True Move and go with another provider (and unfortunately switch to another number)?

Thailand can be frustrating at times….

I used to have TrueMove post-paid (use pre-paid instead now as it's cheaper for me). A week or so after signing up I went to the local True office an asked them kindly to not ever send me promotional SMS messages again and the girl there entered something in her computer, I haven't received a single SMS (promotional) since.

BUT ALL THE TIME.... lol

NOW i also discovered that homepro and some hospital outlets also, after promising that there would be no "any extra charges" on using credit cards from overseas to settle the charges....

my online statement from overseas home bank shows extra charges.... it is maddening and frustrating....

unless and until we spend more time going back to those managers to complain.... they will happily do it over and over again, assuming that we do not know nor care....

pls if you have any dissatisfactory charges.... if the front office can not adjust to your satisfaction.... walk up to the manager.... and give them a piece of your mind....

so they can help you correct the problems....

pls do not just let it slides.... it is casting a shadow on everyone else.... then they assume that we do not know nor care....
