Hotels In Pattaya

Featured Replies

Recommendations for reasonable quality hotels required for Pattaya.

I have stayed in Sunshine Hotel and Residences, and my luggage was damaged

due to a faulty air con, and had to request a change of room.

The clerks at the front desk stated it would be a high increase, and I refused and had a meeting

with the manager. After some verbal dialog, the manager agreed to upgrade at no cost.

Don't accept what the desk clerks say, always ask to speak to the top management.

It would appear that the desk clerks are told to parrot off a spiel, hoping you will go away and sulk.

The manager later stated that the original building was due for refurbishment, but it is still rented.

The old adage still remains: CONSUMER BEWARE!

:)

Merry Christmas and Welcome to Thailand. :)

That is surprising. I have stayed at the Sunshine for over ten years and the desk clerks have been fantastic. Were the ones who talked to you the women or the men? It makes a difference in how you speak to them. I have found them to be very cordial and helpful. I have met the manager and even without the manager's permission, the front office people have upgraded my rooms at times at no extra charge. Being civil in your manner goes a long way.
