Disabling Downloading In Firefox

Featured Replies

when i was using IE, it used to download on my flashget automatically.

in firefox i could copy the dl link and paste on flashget, but there are some sites that do not allow me copy the link and downloads it no slow, unstable firefox downloader...

so how do u disable auto dl from firefox browser?

Just install the add-on

http://flashgot.net/?ver=1.2.1.08&prev=1.2.1.07

in Firefox and you can use many download managers - your existing Flashget should work too. If it does not work with the default settings for Flashget just tell the add-on the path to your Flashget (Add Download Manager). And look at the other settings of the add-on. You can start the download after selecting it or you can get a window with questions before doing anything.

On the other hand - perhaps a newer version will do the trick too:
