As we are still talking about grits I am not sure what is meant. I have found out that they are available in Thailand so I am through. The rest was educational about how to cook them.

Thanks.

have this to say.  I have eaten grits all of my life and then found out it is a great food of South Catolina in a dish called Shrimp and Grits.  I thought that sounded terrible and finally my son got me to try it and D#mn if it isn' t real good.  Look up the recipe on line as it is very good and you will like grits then.

Still like eggs, bacon and grits with a hot biscuit and honey.

I love grits. I used to eat them just about every day before I came to Thailand.

(No. I'm not from the south or a farm.)

I have, indeed, been looking for a box of grits in the stores.

I know they have something very similar to grits in the Philippines (no, not oatmeal) but haven't yet seen any REAL grits here in Thailand.

Your best bet is probably to have someone send you them in bulk.
