Finding A Job In Thailand

Featured Replies

Hi all,

I've never been to Thailand but have spent a lot of time in Asia, Singapore, Philippines, Hong Kong, and would like to go to Thailand for a while, with the potential to stay. Can anyone recommend any good job search sites for Thailand? I've been googling and found a few that don't have much, any recommendations appreciated.

There is a recession on. Thai companies are laying people off, and not too many want to employ foreigners at this time considering the inflated salaries and paperwork/work permit hassles. If you have some special skill that are in demand and there are not enough Thais available, you may find something. In normal times, the Bangkok Post would be worth a look. A search on google.co.th (not .com) might get some results too.

Not visa related, moved to jobs section.
