I, and a friend will be arriving in Bangkok in early February and I have started looking for hotels in the Sukhumvit area for a couple of nights before heading to other parts of Thailand. I've read some good things about this Merisess' Hotel but at the same time there were statements regarding the TV channels are almost all Indian. I know, I know, a person doesn't spend a whole lot of time viewing TV in Bangkok. However, my concern is that this may be an other Indian owned hotel that caters to the middle east tourists.

Sooooo, does anyone have any first hand experience staying at this place?
