search me anytime at the airport as long as they are searching everyone

Seems like searching may not reveal that?

As long as a method to light a fuse is available.

In which case anything with a battery will do much like a cars cigarette lighter ( resistance heat )

A few years ago Mythbusters on the Discovery Channel brought on a guest who was a chemist. He demonstrated that with three 100-ml bottles of liquid (what is, or at least was, allowed to be carried on board) he could destroy a plane's fuselage. Of course, he wouldn't reveal what those three compounds were, but suffice it to say that the knowledge is out there. So while the airport security can stop someone with a crudely made or large device, it wouldn't deter a fanatic from taking a plane down with a minimum of product. That being said, I'd rather have the crude ones stopped, at least, so I've got no problems with security checks.

This topic is not Thailand related. But its a valuable information how easy it is to "manufacture" such stuff. And that is very scary.

To avoid speculations what substances might have been used in that video is another reason to close it
