bedu
If I have to report on March 20th for 90 days reporting, but I am going out of the country around the same date, do I still need to report? I have to get a re entry permit so do I do it at the same time? Some advice needed please.
monty
Leaving the country resets the 90 day clock. If you leave before your 90 day reporting day you have to do nothing, just leave. If you leave a few days after your 90 day reporting day, best to go in and do it. Either way, the new 90 day report date will be 90 days after you re-enter Thailand, not 90 days after your last report. Use a calender, count out the 90 days and maybe stick a note in your passport as a reminder!
Mario2008
Around the same day is a bit vague. It would depend on when you leave the country. If you leave after the due date, you would need to do the report. If you just go before you leave to get a re-entry permit, I would just make the 90 day report at the same time. Can be made 7 days in advance, till 7 days after due date.

thaiphoon
Remember that the day of re-entry counts as Day 1 in calculating the next 90 day report date.
