Meditation, Buddhism

I've never heard of a meditation class or centre on Phuket. Mosques outnumber wats on the island, or at least it certainly looks that way.

However I'm sure some of the Buddhist monasteries there do teach meditation to lay people, upon request. A good place to ask would be Wat Chalong, the largest wat on Phuket.

Are you a Phuket resident or simply looking to study meditation on an island? If the latter, Wat Khao Tham on Ko Pha-Ngan offers 10-day courses at the beginning of almost every month.
