webfact
Since I am running W7 black horizontal lines appear from time to time. I am using 2 monitors and these lines are to be seen on both. My guess is the culprit is the card. Both monitors are 1y old. Its Acer P243W. My graphics card is 3y old. Its a NVIDA GeForce 7600GT. During installation of W7 the newest driver was downloaded and installed. My question - what cause these black lines? Refresh rate is at 60Hz (the settings only give me this choice) Is there any cure for it? The lines disappear after a while... I am thinking to install the driver which came with the card but I guess W7 will update it again to the latest one. NVIDA says on its web site W7 needs new drivers. Thanks for advise

monty
Definitely graphics card/driver issue, would be odd to have two monitors showing the same defect simultaneously!
thunder30101
Try running one monitor at a time, or on a different monitor. One good thing vid cards are fairly cheap.
