I own a company here and do very well. I also have several friends that own companies here and living off of what they earn. My one friend has had his company for over 20yrs in Thailand and still doing well.

If i was you i put 1 million in a european bank get around 4.25 % intrest, 42.5 K

Try to reduce living costs and be 8 hours a day busy to find a job, werever possible (not only oil/gas but also construction and mining sites).
