Best Place To Get Exit Stamp?

Featured Replies

I need to get an exit stamp (i think that's the correct term for it) before i leave. I understand it's not now possible to get one at the airport on departure.

Where's the best place to get one? I don't want to all the way to Wattana to the new immigration building. Can it be done at Suan Phlu or on Phahon Yothin Rd. near Mochit?

Any pointers gratefully received.

I think you’re talking about the re-entry permit. If you live in Bangkok you have to get it at Chaeng Watthana.

The single biggest problem in communication is the illusion that it has taken place

You can obtain a re-entry permit from your local immigration office. For residents of Bangkok that would mean going to the new immigration office at Chaeng Wattana.

Suan Phlu closed last year when services were transferred to Chaeng Wattana (except for nationals of Cambodia, Laos and Myanmar). The BOI One Stop Centre at Chamchuri Square (Phaya Thai Rd) can handle 90 day reporting only for Bangkok residents; other services are only for those specifically authorized to use that facility.

Re-entry permit. That's the one. Not possible to get it anywhere else? I live in BKK.

Unless you are authorised to use the BOI One Stop Centre you will need to go to Chaeng Wattana.
