Renew Thai Passport In Pattaya?

Featured Replies

My partner has heard that Thai National's passport can be renewed in Pattaya (only 5 months left on old one with foreign travel planned). Is this correct? If so where to go? Thanks

I am fairly certain she will have to go to Bang NA ,Bangkok .Its an office by Central depatrment store in the basement .If you get a bus from North Pattaya to Bangkok you can ask the driver to let you off at Central Bang Na .

There are several passport offices in Thailand, and they have mobile offices to visit the provinces once in a while. Maybe they are coming soon.

For a list of the passport offices in Thailand look here: http://www.mfa.go.th/web/2633.php

Just click on "department of consular affairs" in the midlle frame and a list will apaer. Seems to be the enarest is indeed Bangkok. Will only take about 30 minutes to apply and they can send the passport to you for 30 or 35 bahts. ready in a few days.

my thanks to you both for prompt replies - will go to Bang Na to be sure.

Last year, during high season, the mobile MFA-unit was present in Soi Post Office on a regular basis, announced in local newspapers.

Try to find out by calling 1337 - the cities' help-desk.
