Featured Replies

How is true adsl 2.5M speed?

I want to know the adsl2.5M speed when look at oversea site not thailand site

Is it really higher than 1M?

It varies, minute to minute, but not by much. After you log in, go to: www.trueinternet.com.th. There's a pulldown menu that allows you to test for many things, including speed.

If check speed at there , that is thailand site, different speed

from international site

if look at only thailand site, speed is high , but outside thai ,

speed is low?

Yes, correct. Doesn't make sense to do that test on True's website. That's the speed within Thailand only.

I use 2500/512. Even I can give you figures, they made be different in your zone (I am in Bangkok 10400).

Daytime: 400-1000kbs (downloads about 80-120kbytes)

Nighttime: 200-350 kbs (downloads about 60-80 kbytes)

After 03.00: 1800-1900 kbs (downloads around 265 kilobytes.

Note that these are 'best' results. It also depends on the site you're downloading from (ping/trace).

I download yesterday (03.00) the new version of Worldwind (180 mb) in around 11 minutes.

On 'quiet days' like holidays, speeds are higher than this.

Maximum download is 267kbytes, maximum upload is 50kbytes.
