March 22, 201016 yr This gasahol thing seems to be a complete scam. They created it and tell us to use it because it saves energy and is cheaper. But if it's saving 5% of the oil used in processing, and it is 5 or 10% cheaper, but is 10% less efficient (in my experience my gas mileage suffers noticeably, at least 10%) then how is that doing anything but creating a net increase in oil use and actually costing the same or more at the pump? All the while diverting corn from feeding hungry people so that Americans can keep driving their Hummers!!!! And now we can't even get regular 95 anymore! <deleted> does one have to do with the other? Or is it just a random, unrelated chance to slang Americans? Replace that with "All so Germans can eat Bratwurst!" or "All so French can drink wine!" or "All so Aussies can get pissed and have a fight!" and they all make about as much sense as what you wrote. Internet forums of every type should have a stickied link at the top of ALL subforums to a course in "Basic Logical thought and communication"
March 22, 201016 yr Why should we when it's the same price as 91 octane. I was under the impression that Gasahol was suppose to be cheaper any how? I run my bike on a minimum of 91 Octane up to 95 Octane. Recommended by Yamaha it's a 500CC.
