Proper Disposal Of Computer Equipment

Featured Replies

My home is fast becoming a repository for dead computer equipment.

I've got 2 dead desktops and several defunct laptops that I want to dispose of properly. e.g. not incinerated or leaking toxins into the ground.

Is there a proper place to dispose of said laptops and computers?

Anyone know if I can take them to HP or Acer and they can recycle them??

Thanks

I noticed some new bins at Central Festival where you can dispose of batteries, small appliances etc. near the escalator.

One of the regulars at Woody's computer clinic might take them as I asked the same question at the last meeting.

I can always use computer spare parts unless older than 6 years or so, would be happy to pick them up.
