First of all a quick hello to all browsing and now on to my dilemma....

Having opened my passport today i noticed that i have to do my visa run tomorrow (Monday 8th feb 2010)

I have tried calling Jack Tours office and his staff's mobile, but no one is answering at 5pm on a Sunday evening, to be expected really and no ones fault but my own.

Can anyone tell me if there is a 5am service to Poi Pet on the 8th Feb 2010, if not am i correct in thinking that the usual 7am bus will still be departing?

I'm just a little afraid of turning up and the bus not being there or being full........ :S

Thank you for the information, i was under the impression that the 5am service from jack tours was canceled on Mondays.

the website is a little confusing in certain areas, but overall i was very happy the last time i used them

Option, grab a tour bus at Ekamai yourself and head out to Aranyaprathet. I note, tho, there's several buses a day that pass by my place in Thanyaburi, on Hwy 305, the Rangsit-Nakhon Nayok Road, that are marked "Rong Kluea Market," which is that super large market area nearby the Aran border point. You could get a tuk tuk from there to the border itself, I reckon.

Assuming you hold a multiple entry visa you would be ok doing that. You are exiting the country on the last day of your permission to stay, and your visa is still valid to obtain new 90 day permission to stay on re-entry.

Thank you for that advice, i think i'll wait untill Tuesday now, as i really enjoyed the short and somewhat quick trip to Poi Pet with Jack Golf last time, i don't fancie making a whole day of it with the other companies, depart 8am and return at 5:30, seems a tad too long to me when i can go to Poi Pet with Jack the following day
