Cheap Flights From Uk During Summer Holidays

I'm looking for cheap flights to LOS during the UK school summer holidays which commence on 23rd July for 6 weeks. I've seen Opodo.com recommended by TV members so I give it a go.

£635 Jet Air or £671 Fin Air.

Anyone know of any better deals for 2 adults and a 14 year old?

the prices go up at the end of june till september.

jest air is the cheapest and if you have to go don't wait with buying tickets.

for the child some airline might give a small discount.

Opodo is now showing £606 (all-in £1,730) going out 23 July back 3 September, Finnair - much preferable IMO to Jet - Mumbai stopover no thank you.

Check Air Asia's web-site for the Lon-Kuala Lumpur-BKK route and Air Lanka. I don't think either of those two routes is accessed by Opodo's search engines.

Cheapest prices for a one or 2 month return flight ex UK per adult this Summer seem to currently be:

£450 April or May (except around Songkran on April 13/14/15

£500 June or early July

£625 late July August

I expect it will go back down in reverse transposition order thereafter. October and November are good cheap flight months for Thailand also, unless you come back after mid December

I agree with last poster - don't hang around too long - that July/Sep fare will drift on up to £750 over the next couple of months, unless the world drops back into reecession.

Oh - hang on a minute - the world will drop back into double dip recession. Hang on and look again in April (if you still have a job)!

But seriously I would still grab the Finnair flight at £600 if the timing suits and Air Asia or Air Lanka are not appreciably cheaper.

Definitely a good place to start, as they get very-cheap deals with Thai, but also know all the better ones on indirect-routes, such as via the Gulf. Happy travels !

i just came with jet air, one stop at mumbai, 3 hours longer than non stop. New twin engine planes not many toilets but no other complaints. 400 return, i was quoted 500 for june/july with statravel/goodge street

When I looked a month or two back Finnair and Oman were the cheapest, and I went for the first. i did notice though that Oman have new aircraft on this route now, and the guys on another thread are saying they are good. Oman's site seems as cheap as the agents, but I haven't checked recently.
