Ed Visa: What And/or Where Can I Study Beside Thai Language?

Featured Replies

Hello folks,

I am considering getting an "Ed" visa but want to find out what is available for a falang to study in order to qualify for an Ed visa…..other than Thai language (that one was pretty easy to figure out).

I found this on one website……."You can also study Muay Thai, Thai Cooking, Gemology, Massage Therapy, Meditation, many different university courses and a whole host of other things".

Ok, so what are these "whole host of other things"?

I read on Thaivisa forum that one guy has a friend that is studying Muay Thai and another one is learning how to cut and style hair.

Another person said that one can study jumping up and down as long as the school/instructor is registered with the Ministry of Edukashun.

I went to the MOE's website but did not find anything listing who was actually registered with them.

Could not find anything else on the web either.

So……does anyone know if there is a list that exist (or a legend that a list exists) that tells WHAT and/or WHERE we can go study that will allow us to get an Ed visa?

I want to stimulate my mind with something that I am really interested in if possible.

Something like this would be great……

Hua Hin

Webster University: Variety of subjects.

Thai Language Center: Ummm….Thai Language.

Bangkok

Big Bertha's Beauty Boutique: Hair and neighborhood gossip.

Samui

Squiddly Diddly's Fish Farm and Streetcarts: International seafood business operations.

Phuket

Gangster Tuk Tuk's: Extortions and beatdown's.

Pattaya

Meatwagon driver: Pulling wallets and pockets inside out and cadaver swinging…..30 mins before BIB arrives.

Thanks to those that will actually provide some worthwhile info.

And for the haters…well, just keep on hatin'!

Chok Dee! :)
