Lab Testing

Featured Replies

Hi,

I have some herbal tee (medicinal) I want to test!

I am not sure what it is and what is it for?

I am afraid of some slow poisoning... :):D :D

Please advise any lab...

Thanks

You have a choice of testing for specific substances where you will have to tell the lab what to test for (e.g. heavy metals, herbicides, pesticides) and even specific organic chemicals (some algal toxins for example). OR you can do toxicity testing where the herbal tea is given to different organisms (typcially a bacteria, a plant, a fish and a worm) and then the effect of the tea on the organism is determined.

I don't know of a single lab in Thailand that is accredited (by an international accreditation body) to do toxicity testing. And I wouldn't trust many Thai analytical labs to give me an accurate result for their analyses (although there are some that are good).

This type of testing could run into thousands of dollars (not Baht).

Why do you think this herbal tea is bad? Switch brands?

Look at what I do for living (Private Investigator).

It is for a customer that had some health problem 2 years ago and he just found out that his wife is cheating on him for more than 4 years!

She want him to drink this herbal tea VERY much !!!...

well the problem is you have to tell the lab what to test for; and also of the millions of chemicals out there the best lab can only detect a tens of thousand of them. Is there a way to get her to drink it? Can you get a dog or cat to try and drink it (some people may not like that but that is the way it is)?
