Hi guys,

Is it possible to go into immigration with a letter from my employer saying I will be leaving a week or so before the date my employment ends. Will I be able to get the 7 day extension after that date or from the day I go to immigration?

If I finish on the 17th Feb can I go in earlier and get 7 days from the 17th? Or do I have to wait to go in on the 17th.

The 7 days is not a real extension of stay - it is an under review period/disapproved extension of stay. Almost positive it will start on day of application.
