I've just signed up for a thai language course and am heading to Penang tonight to change from a tourist to a student. My school charges 5000 baht to add a single reentry to my ED visa. I wonder if this is a fiar price? I have nothing to go on for this and I will need to travel home for a month or so in late May early June.

If I do not get this now will it be a problem getting a reentry permit after the fact?

A re-entry permit costs 1,000 (single) or 3,800 (multiple) and you can apply for it anytime you want.

You cannot get a re-netry permit from a consulte or embassy only from Thai immigration in thailand itself.

Not sure what you are talking about but if it is the normal 90 day extension of an ED visa you do it yourself (with the school paper) for 1,900 baht.

hi mario can i appplye in Ayutthaya for RE ENTRY PERMIT or i have to go in bangkok because my school is in Bangkok and a live in Ayutthaya i know everry 3 months i have to go in bangkok for my 90 days

ok lopburi thanks so i have to go home on the 27 of may so i have to go for my extension in bangkok on the 7 of may i would make my re entry permit at the same time
