Straight after checking into the hotel, I'd like to buy buy some fireworks so that I can set them off during the night. (to usher in the Chinese New Year). Can anyone advise where exactly i can buy them? (addrress would be appreciated rather just a general description of the place) Also, does anyone know if the Chines New Year is widely celebrated in Phuket? steelepulse Posted February 12, 2010 Share Posted February 12, 2010 I'll second supercheap, but if you're in one of the tourist areas and will only be buying a little bit, you should be able to buy them from someone selling them either at their stall, or wandering the street.
