Chinese New Year Celebrations

Chinese New Year Celebrations

dragon-dance1.jpg At 6.00pm, Sunday, 14th February, a parade featuring traditional Chinese dragons and lions will roar to life on Walking Street.

The action then transfers to Bali Hai Pier for:

 • more dragons / lions
 • kung-<deleted> exhibition
 • Chinese Girl Pattaya Pageant (ages 7 - 9)
 • music by Chocolate Band & Klear Band
 • fireworks.

I got woken up today by firework, looks like some do start a little early.

Nearly got hit riding by someone lighting them off. Just like New Year's Eve (12/31), some Thais don't care if their "celebrating" puts anyone in harm's way or ruins their peace. Thank God only once a year.
