February 14, 201016 yr Hi! Just wondering whether Immigration issue re-entry permits for tourist visas and how much it costs if they do? Thx.
February 14, 201016 yr Yes, you can obtain a re-entry permit on a tourist visa to preserve your current permission to stay. On re-entry you should be stamped back in with your current permission to stay date. Obtain from local immigration office. 1,000 baht single entry or 3,800 baht multiple entry.
February 15, 201016 yr Author Thanks a lot for your precious help. Am trying to figure out if it really makes sense and in which cases, 3,800 bahts is a bit pricy for a 2 to 3-months permission to stay...
February 15, 201016 yr Let us know your travel plans/dates and we can advise further. It may be possible to use visa exempt entries on re-entry depending on your plans/timings. 30 days visa exempt entry if re-entering by air, or 15 days visa exempt entry at land border.
