Please realize ANY name in thai, especially if it is transliterated, or spelled in engrish is likely to loose A LOT of the thai meaning and/or value. Can you find someone to spell it in the thai language?

Is this the given first name, is it the B/S (as in bull sh_it :) ) 'fun name' all thais have, or is it spelled out in engrish?

Really what I am asking you is; IS it a thai 'nick-name'; which every thai I have EVER met in this country has; or is it their given first name..

After so many posts, please get your dux (as in ducks :D ) in a row .....

Ditto what Tod said -- the meaning depends on the spelling in Thai, something which can't be unambiguously extracted from the romanization.

If it's spelled กาญจนิตย์, for example, I think it means "eternal gold" (I could be wrong).
