February 16, 201016 yr I have just read an interview with the Dorna boss Carmelo Ezpeleta regarding the proposed Singapore Moto GP. http://www.crash.net/motogp/news/156849/1/...ling_block.html Sounds as if it wont be happening, at least in the near future anyway. As Sepang is only a few hours from here its difficult to see it happening at all, the circuit would have to be a dedicated motor racing track, opposed to the street circuit used by the F1. A race would never meet the saftey standards required by Moto GP to use the street circuit. If the F1 body were to move towards the construction of a dedicated circuit it may become possible for Dorna to stage Moto GPs but due to the cost of land here to do so , the bill would be huge. The fact there are many golf courses on the island is quite sad really. Dream on.
March 5, 201016 yr Author Not sure really, all I can find is that it was poorly attended, which sounds odd for China. That and other countries strongly pushing for a round in their respective country.
