got a big unpleasant surprise today :

I got 0,25 % interest on my european account

in the bank they make publicity (2009) about 1% interest if you lock it for 12 months

so I asked, can I change my account type, to get the 1% interest as stated on the publicity ?

NO.. cannot... does not excist anymore ?

somebody pulling my leg ? somebody else got a EURO account and is getting peanuts ?

you should open an account in my country(belgium) interest rates including lock for 12 months are usually 2.3%.

then when questioned.... the response usually is.... it expires already, it is no longer applicable, so sorryyyyyyyyyyy....

did i really say that.... i was informed not to say any bad thing about thailand.... but i am not instructed not to.... about poor banking services though....
