A friend - regular visitor from the US - told me he arrived this week and, when showing his passport at immigration, received an entry stamp good for only 21 days.

For years, it's been 30 days.

Has anyone heard of this?

If your friend plans to stay longer than 21 days he should go to the immigration office and get the date corrected.
