My friend went to Pattaya immigration this morning and was told that from April 1st he will need 2 Million Bht in a Thai bank for 3 months to obtain a retirement extension, is this true? or is it an early April fools joke.

Well in years passed it has gone up from 200K to 400K to where it is at now 800K so who knows maybe
