Business Visa Extension

Featured Replies

Hi guys, kinda need some help here regarding my visa. Long story short. I've successfully applied for a 90 days Business Visa to Thailand (Type B: Non-Immigrant).

Upon expiration, can I extend my stay in Thailand for another 30 days by applying for a tourist visa? If yes, where can I apply for 30 days and how much does it cost?

Thank alot in advance.

No need if it's "multiple entry". Leave Thailand and come back for another 90 day stay.

Visa is valid for 1 year.

He said a 90 day visa and that only allows one stay of 90 days and can not be extended for 30 days as is done for a tourist visa. He will have to leave the country and return on a new visa or visa exempt entry to stay more than 7 extra days unless he has some valid reason for an extension of stay.

My Business Visa is a single not multiple entry. How can I apply for a mutiple entry?

Thanks in advance.

Within the region you can obtain multiple entry Non-B visa from KL or Penang with full company documents and at least 8 months remaining on work permit. In the case of Penang, the company must have a registered share capital of at least 8 million baht. For more information on the documents required have at look at this MFA link.

Otherwise the nearest consulate that will issue would be Perth, requiring sight of company registration documents, work contract and letter from Thai employer specifically requesting issue of multiple entry visa.
