Changian
I'm sure there is a very good reason for this ad and is in no way casting aspersions on the integrity of this forum or the reasons as to why it is permitted. Exhibit A. 9) Not to discuss proxies or other methods of bypassing government blocking of websites. Exhibit B.
Crossy
TV has little control over the content of the Google ads, however I believe we can ask that certain ones are not shown. Moving to support.

Changian
Ahh. Fair enough, Crossy. But odd that the banners for forum sponsors also redirect to Googleads rather than direct to their own website. Eg in the General Forum ( http://www.thaivisa.com/forum/General-f48.html ) the very small links for, say Travel Forum sponsors link direct to the sponsors site, no-one will click on these. But click on the Travel Forum and all the large banner ads - the type that people will click on - link via Google. Eg Painai.com - the link on the Travel Forum page goes to: http://googleads.g.doubleclick.net/aclk?sa...ai.com&nm=2 Why not just link to 'painai.com' as that is what they are paying for? Just wondering how come, as if I was paying to be a forum sponsor I'd want the link going direct to my site not via Google to my site. I'm sure there is a simple explanation. Pretty sure it's made in order to track traffic through these links, but true direct links could be better for SEO. You seldom see banners that links directly though if my memory serves me right. And to the OP: Those are not google ads, those are sponsors of the forum and are placed there by thaivisa. I'm sure they will look into this matter though as sbk says, and take the necessary action. sbk
Which forum does this ad show up in please?
Changian
It's on the top of the News Clippings forum. Still there now. If it is a Google ad then TV is in breach of Adsense rules by not stating that it is - there is no text to say 'Ads by Google' If it is a TV sponsor ad, then TV is in breach of it's own rules.
