Rimmer Posted March 3, 2010 Share Posted March 3, 2010 On Tuesday Afternoon on Jomtien Beach in front of the Grand Jomtien Hotel, an emergency situation occurred involving a tourist from Belgium, Mr. Raymond Gevaert aged 75. An unusual current caused him to be swept out to sea but he was rescued by a fellow beachgoer. Mr. Gevaert, who was at the beach with his Wife, had swallowed sea water and was in a serious condition and required manual ventilation by a nurse who arrived in a Pattaya Memorial Hospital Ambulance.
