Non-immigrant O Renewal

Featured Replies

Hi All:

A friend of mine who lives in Myanmar (American) has a 90 day non-immigrant ) Visa that will expire on June 1st. For some reason she seems to think that she has seven (7) working days after the expiry date to renew it. Can anyone confirm that this information is correct or not.

Thanks

She is talking about 90 day reporting, then you have a 7 day window either side.

For a Visa it will expire on the date shown, if she tries to renew afterwards she will be on overstay.

You do not do 90 day reports on a 90 day visa entry. She is mistaken and must depart on or before the permitted to stay until stamp date in her passport. The actual visa date only applies to entry into Thailand (use before date).
