The last 3 days I have found the internet is getting slower. Is that the case for others as well?

It crossed my mind that those in power may be monitoring the internet and slowing things down.

Not for me, I'm currently downloading last nights episode of 'Lost' using a download accelerator to a web server I have and it's coming in at about 170 - 200 KB/s which is not a bad speed.

Strangely enough I was at my computer the other night when the internet connection stopped working altogether, I looked at the router and the DSL light had gone out so I picked up the phone and it was dead. It started working again about an hour or so later, very strange.

This has to be the millionth post about slow internet in Thailand.

There is a simple reality...the internet in Thailand is "steam powered" on the best of days & "horse drawn" on many other occasions.
