With the coming red shirt protests does anyone have thoughts or information on issues of air and train travel within Thailand this Songkran?

Songkran is a long time away.

As always with songkran, book well in advance if you need to travel. Just before and at the end it is going to be very, very busy. Best thing is not to travel if you don't have to.
