Multi Non-o Visa Financial Requirements

Featured Replies

Hello,

USA

36

Married to Thai and Thai child.

I need something cleared up before my trip to the Thai Consulate General in Atlanta, GA USA.

Is there a financial requirement for a 1 year mutiple entry O-Visa? I know the 400k BHT is for the extention after 1 year or without the Multiple entry visa, but what about the muti entry?

No rule for a multi entry, you need to sign the form that states you have sufficient funds to look after yourself.

I assume you will apply for a non-imm O on the basis of visiting/supporting Thai family. I get the same visa from another USA consulate and they ask to see a bank statement with a balance of $1000.00 or more. Not too onerous but they do require it. That and $175.00 (multi-entry) and you should be good to go.

Usually when applying in your home country, not many questions are asked regarding funds.

However it might be best to heed FarangBuddha's advice and take along a bank statement.

I've used Atlanta for multi-O. Very friendly service. They did ask to see a bank statement, but no specific balance was mentioned.

in case anyone in the uk is interested, i received today, multi entry from hull with just a copy of marriage cert.

i know its common, but if this info helps :)
