Hi

Does anybody know of any charity groups or foundations in Hua Hin that need unpaid workers. ive a few hours a week to spare and would like to help the community and the thais

Any advice welcome.

Volunteer work also requires a work permit! If anything happens and you havn't got one, you could be in serious trouble.

This doesn't answer the question.

However; perhaps the poster could be a bit more specific on the type of volunteer work that they were looking for. ie ESL? kid's programs? religious? etc.

A new Rotary club started out before Christmas. They meet 12 o'clock every Friday at Grand Hotel by Sau Paolo hospital.

The club is a sister cub to the Thai club which has been in Hua Hin for many years, this new club is international and all activities are in English.

No, perhaps it doesnt answer the question BUT its vital information the OP needs before proceeding with any type of volunteer work.
