Featured Replies

What are the conditions to get a not immigration expert visa?

Never heard of such a visa.

Try searching first then asking if things are not clear

Lots of posters here feel they are experts on everything but visas donot reflect that HA HA

TTBOMK there is no Expert Visa -- Only 'B' Non-IMMs that can be granted extensions for several 'Expert' category reasons as per Police Order 777/2551... In Diplomatic parlance 'Expert' in almost all circumstances equates to 'PhD' or some other officially recognized Certification.

... Or if some Thai Ministry is willing to officially state for the record that they recognize you as an International Expert.

Correction from MFA website:

3. NON-IMMIGRANT VISA

- to conduct scientific research or training or teaching in a research institute (Category "RS")

- to undertake skilled work or to work as an expert or specialist (Category "EX")

but I would doubt one would qualify unless you received an appointment from a Thai Ministry or Institution and would in fact would be little different from the 'B' Non-IMM visa when it comes time for extension.
