Dog In Bangkok

Featured Replies

I am going to be moving to Bangkok and wanted to know if anyone can advise me on dog friendly apartments/agents that can help. I have looked online but there doesn't seem to be much. I want to rent a condo/apartment near a park ideally.

Also, anyone know of dog walking or dog sitting services as both my husband and I will be working?

Any advice on having a dog in Bangkok would be greatly appreciated. (he is a three year old English Staffie)

Thank you

you can always let him run in the soi. he will make friends and have a bit to eat while you are out at work.

Sorry to say, most parks do not allow dogs. I live on Sathon and walk my dog on the street in the evening. There are some quite tree lined side streets and I can often let my dog off leash after about 9pm, this however is not typical of Bangkok as most streets are quite busy.

Some condos will allow dogs, many will not. In addition, they may have size limits. You will have to ask each condo. I have a house with a yard.

It is usually too hot to walk a dog during the day so you can probably do it yourself in the evening. You will likely get a maid so they might be company for the dog during the day, however many maids will be afraid of dogs.

You might also want to check the requirements for returning to your home country. I come from Australia and they will not accept dogs from Thailand due to rabies.

I am renting out 3 dog friendly houses - all of them in west bangkok - 10k baht/month.

my brother in law, who lives next to those houses and is retired, do takes care of animals, when the owners are not home.

Are any of these houses currently available and can you give a more specific location - thanks

If you are looking for pet friendly condo/apartment with a local park facility try checking out Phanasin Place, ramkhamhaeng soi 24/3 close to ABAC UNI. i am living here for past 4 years, almost every room has got pet and the soi is very spacious and clean with full security 24/7. the room is big enough and the rent is also somewhat around 4500-5000 max. i am living with my 3 dogs here. <br>

All the condos in my building permit pets (PM me if you want details). I know Fraser Suites on Sathorn allows pets in their rental condos and also (possibly) in their serviced apartments too.

The post seems old, but is relevant to my current situation. Did anyone find someone to walk their dog? I am living in the Sukhumvit Asoke area and need someone to walk the dog. Thanks!
