Daren
Checking online, I see lots of upper range apartments and houses for rent in Phuket but not a lot of low- to mid-range listings. I'm not surprised, but I'm wondering what an average 2 - 3 bedroom house in Phuket town (north side preferably) would cost. Can any one please shed some light? All input greatly appreciated! petercallen
Check out (my name is wellta) and phuket.net prices starting from 1.5 million baht they have plenty of listings all over phuket. There is no shortage of houses for sale or for rent here.
Daren
Thanks for the reply, Peter. I just wanted to know the average price to rent a house -- not too flashy -- in Phuket Town. Got an estimate?
ScubaBuddha
8000-15,000 baht a month for a middle class (by Thai standards) house. At one end of the spectrum, some cheap single bedrooms duplexes, almost like an apartment without even a sink in the kitchen can be gotten for as little as 3000 baht a month. Crackerbox apartments and studio's for even less than that. A nice western type house can rent for around 50-60,000 baht a month. Price goes up to pretty much anything from there. Phuket Villa projects, typically 8-15k baht for 2-3 bedroom/1-2 bath houses. These guys dont list with expensive agents, drive around and look for signs. Bring someone speaking thai, since most owners speak thai only
